Alexander McQueen's latest collection of sunglasses and optical frames are both innovative and cutting-edge. The collection echoes the elegance and sophistication for which McQueen is famous. Styles include a modern take on the aviator style glasses, appearing in metal and acetate in dove grey, bubble gum pink and golden brown. Glamorous wide framed yet feminine, heavy-set acetate sunglasses appear in jet black, dark violet and Smokey brown and feature a prominently engraved QC logo on the arm. Slim-fitting wrap around sunglasses appear in soft, pastel shaded metal and are embedded around the edges with delicate crystals. 1960's inspired sunglasses feature beatnik style round frames inserted with natural wood panels alongside the temples, a re-occurring McQueen signature concept. Pioneering acetate and metal light-framed sunglass feature interchangeable lenses in slate grey and platinum shades which are released via a bridge pressure device.
